I have only heard Mr. Williams compared to some of the great artist like Stevie Wonder, Prince, Maurice White, Al Green, and many others. I got to co-sign with KL on this one. Stokley is one of the BEST! Check out the way he does the background vocals on quite a few of their songs AWESOME! If I was to compare his voice to an instrument it would be a trumpet. The vocal trombone that he does is good also! To compare him to Raphael Saadiq or Raashan Patterson is selling him short. There is no comparison. Now Raphael is a great songwriter. Raashan…just like J can’t get into “Nothing Left To Say” I’m not feelin him. LOL, I’m trying though.
The question is, What is the difference between a vocalist and a singer? We all can sing.

I watch her all the time on CNN, and I value her opinions and her ideas. The wisdom that she presents is ideal for right now. It is time to move forward and better ourselves as a nation. No more excuses. No going back.
Larry King had Michelle Obama on tonight! She was flawless! It was a brand new interview with her. He has had her on his program a few times. I’m sure that it will re-air this weekend. If you get a chance check her out.

"Shaheedullah and Stereotypes" is a great CD.
"Ursus Minor" is on a whole other level. It is very different from what you might hear from Mint. It showcases different genres like Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop, Opera,(I thought it was a woman until I heard that low bass note) some rock, everything!
I have Jill's CD. LOVIN IT!!! I wish they would have done a song together. Maybe next time.
