As always, the band put on an amazingly energetic show! There were a lot of first-time Mint concert goers in the audience and the guys took advantage of the opportunity to show them how a REAL band with REAL musicians does it!
They came out a little after 9, singing "Gratitude". They also performed "Baby Boy/Baby Girl" and "Nothing Left to Say" from E-Life. They sang "Whoa", "It's Hard", "So Fine", "Devotion-You Send Me Swingin'-Someone to Love", "What You Bring to the Party", They also sang Al Green's "Love and Happiness". It sounded really good. Towards the end, they left the stage. The audience started chanting for PBE, and they came back out and sang it. The crowd LOST it!
At the very end, they did something new with a little rock feel and Stokley just sang "Mint Condition Music.com" over and over LOL!
The entire show lasted for about an hour and 15 minutes. The crowd was really loud. The place was packed!
After the show, we made our way backstage and waited for them to come out.They all looked exhausted--which they should have been since they gave 200% on that stage. Larry hung around for about 2 minutes, and by the time I got the nerve to go up to him, he was heading out. So, I made my way around to the rest of the guys. They were all so gracious, I got a few hugs and pics and they signed my MC t-shirt!.Chatted a few more minutes and said our goodbyes. It was WONDERFUL!!! Can't wait 'til the next show!!
