Tom Joyner and the fellas were tripping early in the AM and things popped off when Rick admitted he is NOT registered to vote and is going to register to vote...TODAY! The TJMS crew inquired how he was going to register. He said online and called out the name of the website incorrect..."MAKE A CHANGE or something like that...I have it written down..." when its voteforchange.com Make sure you are registered to vote for this year's Presidential Election. Jay Anthony told Rick that "You are lucky that Sybil only fussed at you because last week when Joe was in the studio and he admitted he hadn't registered to vote because he thought its all sowed up for Barack Obama ...Sybil Whooped his @$$!!!" ROTFLMAO!!!!!! The studio erupted. They came back from break and were playing "Nothing left to say" and Sybil retorted, "You hear that Rick" and they got their guffaws on again.
Then Tom played some of "Baby Boy, Baby Girl" and asked what the next single would be and quickly turned to Rick and told him he can't vote til he registered. Rick was laughing so hard he started coughing. They never did answer that question. They spoke about being Independent Artists and TJMS is giving out 50 copies of the "Elife" cd during the radio show, too. Rick said that the cd charted in the top 10 cds chart and the single "Nothing left to say" is currently in the top 10. Stokley thanked the fans. Nice interview! Especially love the "jazzy" way they did "Breakin My Heart." Glad Sybil hooked her nails into Rick and he made the effort in getting his Voting registration done! Kudos man!
